Completing the consultation
By law the council have to carry out a consultation, described as a survey on their website. We want to ensure as many responses as possible to the consultation and would encourage you to take a few minutes to fill it out.

You can skip any questions you don't want to answer, and there are some that are not relevant to the general public. The most important is question 3, where you are asked directly whether you would like to see the three libraries closed.
The council has already completed its own research which shows that the least popular option amongst the public is the closure of libraries. Yet they press ahead anyway.
